Football pitches are a common feature of the Polish landscape – they can be found in large cities, smaller towns, villages, and even in the middle of nowhere. These facilities are designed to be places where people can enjoy their time, simply for playing football and bringing people together. However, it often seems that no matter where you find a pitch
(if you even notice it at all, sometimes it's hard to get to) – all football pitches share one common trait: no one is playing on them.
